We help people find Jesus and follow him fully. Everything we do flows out of our passion to see people give their lives to Jesus and then point their lives in his direction.
Reaching the
1.8 Million
There are 1.8 million people living within a 30-mile radius of our Newark location. We call this area “Journey City,” and it represents the mission field God has placed on our doorstep.
What Is BEYOND?
BEYOND is a two-year vision initiative to reach Journey City.
It’s not just about programs or buildings. It’s about helping people experience God, grow together, and make a difference. It’s about compassion that meets real needs. It’s about making room for the next generation.
It’s about fueling ministry that transforms lives. Built on the promise of Ephesians 3:20, BEYOND is rooted in faith that God is able to do more than we ask, imagine, or dream—through us.
We’re praying for God to provide $18 million over 24 months through the generosity of his people.
3 Pillars of BEYOND
BEYOND is built around three pillars: Formation, Compassion, and Expansion.
Formation – $10.2M
Formation fuels ministries that help people find Jesus and follow him fully. Every child learning God’s love, every J-Group connecting in living rooms and coffee shops, every Sunday message of hope – it’s all about spiritual formation.
Compassion – $1.8M
Code Red is a core commitment of our church, a mandate from God to bring light where there’s darkness – to feed the hungry, serve the homeless, walk with the recovering, meeting needs here and around the world in Jesus’ name.
Expansion – $6M
We’ll create new spaces and renew current ones so more people can encounter Jesus, grow spiritually, and belong for the long term.
